The nearest town Royston is just 8 minutes by car with a mainline train station where you can reach central London in 35-40 minutes on the regular fast trains. In the town you will also find a selection of larger supermarkets including Tesco Superstore, M&S, Aldi and Morrisons alongside the usual larger town amenities. 

The prestigious Cambridge University City is less than 15 miles away well connected by road or else from the Royston mainline station with direct trains to Cambridge City and Cambridge North.
